Sleeping Freshman Never Lie by David Lubar

Reviewed by: Kaska Pugh

This book is awesome!!! It is about a boy, Scott, who is very good in school, very smart, and has a crush on a girl who he knew since kindergarden. When he starts high school, a lot of cool and dumb things happen to him. When he thinks that the girl he likes doesn't notice him, he does everything he can to change that. How far will he go?

Also Recommends: Eragon, The Lord of the Rings, The Book of Joby, Guyaholic

Bras and Broomsticks by Sarah Mlynowski

Reviewed by: Ashley Bowers

If you like a Harry Potter chick lit, this magical girls book is for you! Racheal, a Freshmen in high school discovers more than a family secret, but more about her life and how it drastically changes over the pages. Fast read, 10 a.r. pts.

The Prince of Tennis by Takeshi Knomoi

Reviewer: Anonymous

You don't have to be a sports fan to enjoy Prince of Tennis. You can hate sports and still love POT. It's not lame. It's not anything like lame. It's about a young tennis genius who joins his school's prestigious tennis team (made up of all uppperclassmen), and wipes the floor with the faces of all the elder players. It's really interesting, and all of the players are super freakin' good. Read it. Now.

The Amazing Maurice (and his educated rodents) by Terry Pratchett

Reviewer: Andrea

Welcome to Discworld, a place where the world really is flat - and carried around on the backs of four elephants. Meet Maurice, a talking cat, an eccentric clan of talking mice, and a young boy known as "the stupid looking kid." Together they have put together the perfect scheme. But when things start going crazily wrong, they soon find out that their scheme isn't the only one in town...
